Ajman opens Al Talla Road Project to improve travel times - Emirati Times

Ajman: As part of the initiatives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President, and under the oversight of the Presidential Initiatives Committee, the Al Talla Road development project has been officially inaugurated in Ajman.

The project spans 3.2 kilometers and includes two major bridges: an 800-meter bridge on Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road and a 1,100-meter Al Hamidiyah Bridge on Sheikh Zayed Road. In addition, two under-bridge intersections have been newly opened to facilitate smoother traffic flow.

This development is part of a comprehensive plan aimed at sustainable infrastructure enhancement and the ongoing upgrade of Ajman’s road network. It is expected to reduce travel times to targeted areas by up to 60 percent and improve access to key residential districts, including Mohamed bin Zayed City, Al Hamidiyah, and Al Raqaib.

The Al Talla Road project will also provide improved connectivity to major facilities such as the Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Hospital, currently under construction, and the Zayed Educational Complex located in Mohamed bin Zayed City.

In addition to road construction, the project included the installation of an integrated stormwater drainage network, traffic signal systems, and street lighting. These enhancements are designed to improve road safety, ensure smoother traffic movement, and strengthen infrastructure readiness to support Ajman’s urban expansion and ongoing development.

The Al Talla Road project exemplifies the emirate’s commitment to advancing sustainable infrastructure, enhancing mobility, and supporting Ajman’s broader vision of urban growth under the guidance of the UAE’s leadership.
