Montreux Comedy Festival, the Biggest Comedy Festival in Mainland Europe and Swissquote Bank Bring World-Renowned Comedians to Dubai for Their First International Bilingual Comedy Festival

United Arab Emirates, 26 February 2018, (AETOSWire): Comedy-lovers will get the chance to be entertained by the international line up of world renowned comedians at the Madinat Theatre, Souk Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai. On 28th February and 1st March the French comedy galas feature Fray (FR), Roman Frayssinet (FR), Jason Brokerss (FR), Yoann Provenzano (CH) and Lenny M’Bunga (FR). On Friday 2nd March the English gala features Ali Al Sayed (UAE), Francesco De Carlo (IT), Athena Kugblenu (UK), Tats Nkonzo (SA) and Yoann Provenzano (CH).

Fary is famous for his stand-up performances in Fary is the new Black. JAMEL Comedy Club and TV show “On n’est pas couché” on France 2. In France, the media see him as the new “King of Stand Up”.

Dubai’s award-winning Ali Al Sayed is well known for his performances at the Comic Strip Live in New York, the Gotham Comedy Club, the New York American Arab Comedy Festival and Caroline’s on Broadway. Ali has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He was awarded “Funniest People of 2012” by Rolling Stone and “Comedian of the Year 2016” by Esquire Magazine.

Opening French shows: Wednesday 28th February & Thursday 1st March 2018. Closing English show:  Friday 2nd March 2018. Doors open at 8pm, shows start at 8.30pm.
