Farassat joins the company to lead the growth of Seclore’s product portfolio
Today Seclore, the leading provider of data-centric cybersecurity, announced the appointment of Ramin Farassat as its Chief Product Officer (CPO). Farassat will oversee the product growth and development of the Seclore Data-Centric Security Platform, building on the momentum of Seclore’s next generation of data-centric security.
Farassat has spent over two decades leading technical product teams and building enterprise SaaS product portfolios in data security, privacy and compliance, cloud-based content collaboration, AI/ML, NLP, generative AI, big data, and analytics. Before joining Seclore, he was Chief Strategy and Product Officer at Egnyte where he led a product growth strategy. Prior to that, he held executive product and strategy positions at Cisco, and Conviva.
“In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, protecting data is paramount,” said Farassat. “I am excited to work with this exceptional global team to drive innovation and deliver cutting-edge solutions that protect our customers' most valuable assets. Seclore is uniquely positioned to address the increasingly frequent and complex data security challenges facing organizations today.”
“Ramin brings expertise in solving complex customer problems with innovative and scalable solutions,” said Vishal Gupta, co-founder and CEO at Seclore. “His proven leadership in the security landscape and dedicated work ethic make him a perfect fit for our company and I am looking forward to his contributions to our continued growth as the leading provider of data-centric security solutions.”
Farassat will be headquartered in the Bay Area, as the company rapidly grows its North American footprint. Seclore's continued momentum includes receiving recognition from the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards and Cyber Defense Magazine’s Global InfoSec Awards during the RSA Conference, its partner program receiving a 5-star rating from CRN, and announcing the launch of its Professional Services program earlier this year.
