As part of its strategy to highlight Ajman's unique tourist attractions at the local, regional and international level, the Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) will participate in a promotional roadshow in the People's Republic of China from the 27th to the 28th of March, that will be held in Shanghai and Beijing in China..

The promotional roadshow is organised by the Ministry of Economy under the slogan ‘Visit UAE’, and will be headed by Mohammed Khamis Al Mheiri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Advisor to the Minister for Tourism Affairs with a delegation of government officials and Airlines as well as a number of co-participants from various organisations.

H.E. Faisal Al Nuaimi, General Manager of the Ajman Tourism Development Department, said: "We are delighted to participate in China roadshow, where we will focus on promoting the Emirate of Ajman and the UAE as an environmentally sustainable tourist destination, family friendly, historically rich, safe and secure tourist destination.”

"China is an important market for us, and this roadshow is an opportunity for the Department to promote bilateral relations and consolidate economic, cultural and tourist ties between China and UAE. The Department is keen to attract to Ajman a large share of the number of tourists visiting the country from around the world. The roadshow will also allow us meet with strategic tourism partners from around the world, in addition to meeting with government officials and Airlines, which will allow us to exchange tourism experience and promote the Emirate and its tourist elements to attract and increase the influx of tourists in the future.”
