Emirates Rehabilitation & Homecare is now the region’s only healthcare provider with CARF International accreditations for post-acute inpatient, outpatient and home health services
United Arab Emirates -(AETOSWire) : CARF International announced that Emirates Rehabilitation & Homecare Services (ERHC) has been accredited for three years for its Home and Community-Based Rehabilitation program (Adults, Children & Adolescents). This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be given to an organization and shows ERHC’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. With this latest accreditation, Emirates Rehabilitation and Homecare Services is now the region’s only healthcare provider with CARF accreditation for its post-acute inpatient, outpatient and home healthcare programs.
An Emirates Healthcare Company, ERHC is operated and managed by NMC ProVita International Medical Center. ERHC’s multidisciplinary team of internationally trained and specialized physicians, therapists, and nurses put themselves through a rigorous peer review process, demonstrating their commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable and of the highest quality to a team of CARF surveyors. Founded in 2006, ERHC provides post-acute inpatient and outpatient services via its two inpatient rehabilitation centers in Dubai and home-based rehabilitative services across the UAE.
“CARF is the international gold standard for rehabilitation accreditation, and we are very proud that our entire scope of services is now recognized for our commitment to quality. While this achievement reflects our dedication to our patients, it also acknowledges the quality of our services, staff and established practice excellence,” said Dr. Adham Kamal, Medical Director of ERHC.
CARF is an independent, non-profit accrediting body that promotes the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement services that focus on enhancing the lives of the persons served. Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and now known as CARF International, the accrediting body establishes consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services.
