Man arrested for stabbing friend multiple times in Ajman

Ajman Police arrested an Asian man accused of brutally killing his friend in a fit of rage after they had a heated argument. The accused grabbed a knife and stabbed his friend multiple times in the head and stomach, killing him on the spot, in Al Jarf area. He then buried the knife and went into hiding to escape arrest.

Major Ahmed Saeed Al Nuaimi, Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Department of Ajman Police, said that the accused who is now arrested, stabbed his friend several times and was on a run, hiding in different locations in the emirate.

"We received a call notifying us that a highly decomposed body of a man has been found. We investigated the crime scene and collected evidence and fingerprints found on the spot. A CID team was formed and we initiated an immediate probe to nab the killer. Despite the decomposed state of the body, the police was able to identify the victim and on further probe it was revealed that the victim's friend and had killed him after a huge quarrel," Al Nuaimi said.

Major Al Nuaimi added that the two men worked together and on knowing the whereabouts of the suspect, he was arrested after he confessed to killing his friend after a fight between the two. The accused he killed his friend he buried the knife he used in a nearby location and tried to escape arrest.
